Library News & Campus Events:
Spring 2013

• Open House. Wednesday, May 15 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
• The library will be closed on Monday, May 20 for Victoria Day.
• Public lecture. "The Renewal of Sacred Art: Timeless Principles and Contemporary Challenges." Thursday, May 30 at 7:30 in McGivney Hall.
• Damage to Library Books. Please do not write, underline or highlight in library books. Writing in, underlining or highlighting library books is considered damaging the books and damage done to books will be charged to your account accordingly. For more info, please click here.
• U of C Library. To access University of Calgary books that have a location of “High Density Library”, please fill out this form and press “Send”. A hold will be placed on the item and an email will be sent when your item is available. The item will need to be picked up at the University of Calgary in the new building, TFDL. Alternatively, you can call 403-220-5963 to place a hold on “HDL” items. For more information on accessing the U of C Library (TFDL), please see here.
• U of C Library Public Computers. Public computers within the Taylor Family Digital Library no longer allow open public access to University of Calgary computing resources.  Due to IT restrictions, anyone who wishes to use a public computer in the Taylor Family Digital Library will require an IT username and password to log on to the machines and use the resources on them. To register for a username and password, members of the public must present your Student ID to our Student Navigators on the 2nd floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library. 
• The library is an academic workspace. Please lower your voice when in the library.
• Cell phones. In the library, please set your cell phones to silent or vibrate and answer your calls outside the library.
