Library Policies

Food, Drink & Noise in the Library

These policies and privileges have been implemented to preserve your library collections, equipment and facilities. Anyone who does not respect these policies or disturbs other library users will be asked to leave the Library building and may have their library privileges suspended.

Food

• Eating is allowed in the Library and Computer Labs as long as it does not disturb other library users. Please avoid hot, messy, or foods with strong odours.

Drink

• Beverages are allowed around the Library Reference workstations and in the Computer Labs. Spill proof containers are preferred. 
• Users are responsible for any spills that may take place. In the event of a spill please notify library staff.

Noise

• There is one table for group work. Noise carries in the building and so group work should be conducted as quietly as possible. The rest of the library is a quiet study area.
